Theodore Roosevelt once said "It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows achievement and who at the worst if he fails at least fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."

The following are not personality types, just “wrong ways of going about it.” Let’s cover them quickly, too...

Persist.

The words of Calvin Coolidge remain as true today, as when he uttered them.

“There are determined folks in this world who simply won’t take “fail” for an answer.”

If that’s you, all you need is SBI!.

The others, those who have a lifetime pattern of “failure to progress”? If that is you, do not expect a different outcome if you keep doing the “same old things.” To change the pattern of failure, you must look inside and get past your own barriers.

I like Roosevelt's words here. If only I remembered that all the greats failed before they were successful, it would make my failures easier to take.
